1 12 oz. can tomato paste
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. ground oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. onion powder
2 garlic cloves, minced
Mix dry ingredients and set aside.
Mix together paste with water over heat, when it bubbles add dry mix.
Simmer uncovered, 35-40 minutes.

Looks pretty good, but try adding some fresh Roma tomatoes and a *very* finely chopped onion. You will end up with a slightly chunky sauce that will have just a bit more bite to it.
